However, the Nevada congresswoman claims that when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, they did the Democrats a favor.

Susie Lee took television just a day later spending $500,000 on a digital attack against her pro-life Republican opponent with the hopes that the issue of abortion will push voters to vote and reverse the impending doom of the Democratic party come midterms.

Like many of the Democratic nominees fearful they will lose re-election or first-time elections, Susie Lee is refocusing her campaign efforts on the issues that actually matter. Due to what has been deemed as weak messaging by the party leaders, Democratic nominees are saying the overturning of Roe v. Wade has sparked a “new fight.”

Democratic strategists and analysts have warned that the issue of abortion will not be enough by itself to save the Democrats come November. A Democratic pollster, Brian Stryker, said national opinion surveys still indicate inflation “is still far and away voters' top concern." Another political analyst, Kyle Kondik, said he can understand why Democrats jumped on the strategy, however, he also said “it's not clear to me it's moving the needle a ton."
