An Unexpected Hearing from the January 6th Select Committee will take place Tomorrow
They stated they would "present recently obtained evidence and receive witness testimony"...
The House Select Committee conducting the investigation for the January 6th Riots has added another public hearing for tomorrow, one of which was previously unexpected. The panel has yet to announce exactly what the hearing’s topic will be.
Many of the committee confirmed it will not be conducting new hearings or even resuming the ones at play until mid-July. Many members stated they needed more time to review the tapes presented by Alex Holder but have since stated they would "present recently obtained evidence and receive witness testimony."
The sixth hearing this month will take place tomorrow at 1 pm. The first five hearings witnessed the committee laying out the trail left behind by former President Donald Trump indicating his involvement in the Capitol Riots. Trump knew he had lost the 2020 presidential election yet still pressured former Vice President Mike Pence, the DOJ, and state officials to work hand in hand to keep him in office.
According to members of the committee, the two final hearings would focus on the role domestic extremist groups played in attacking the Capitol on the fateful day of January 6th.
