AOC Claims we should Shift Focus from Biden and Focus on Majority
She won't commit to backing Biden just yet...
Just yesterday, Uniic Media posted an article stating why THIS midterm AND election would be the most important for Democrats to back Democrats. The person responsible for taking up the entire far left, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, stated she would not commit to backing President Biden for a 2024 election directly. However, she said, “we'll cross that bridge when we get to it."
"I think if the President has a vision, then that's something certainly we're all willing to entertain and examine when the time comes.
We should endorse when we get to it, but I believe that the President's been doing a very good job so far, and, you know, should he run again, I think that I, you know, I think ... we'll take a look at it.
But right now, we need to focus on winning a majority instead of a presidential election."
Biden is still rumored to be intending to run for reflection in 2024 following reports stating that his staff is attempting to fix up the rough edges concerning his future in politics. Biden and his administration had told allies that he plans to run again, according to the Washington Post.
Senator Chris Coons said that he too expects Biden to run for reelection by saying, "As of now, it is my understanding that the President is seeking a second term."
Polling by CNN stated that many Democrats and Republicans agree on one major thing and that it is to find a number of both currently sitting politicians to replace Biden and former President Trump in the next election. However, very few individuals fit that mold that both parties have in mind.
