Battery Powered Submarine can fit 120 People and the Party can last Underwater for 24 hours
A new party sub with capacity for 120 guests to party for up to 24 hours is making waves in the hospitality industry...
We can all live in a yellow submarine! The Dutch-built “Under Water Entertainment Platform” is the party sub the Beatles were talking about with a capacity for about 120 people and up to 24 hours of battery time. The submarine is 115 feet long and can dive down 650 feet.
The interior is 1,600 square feet and can also be configured to include a 64-seat restaurant, a subsea gym, an aquatic casino, and even a wedding hall. U-Boat Worx, the designer of the submarine, had done so with the intention of “shaking up the hospitality industry.”
The ocean depths are illuminated by massive exterior lights that you can see through upwards of 14 large windows. Both features allow guests to take in the wonders of the sea while enjoying their time inside. Many are claiming the submarine to be a mini cruise ship that cruises under the waves. Guests will be able to roam the submarine whenever as there is a 24-hour run time before recharging is needed.
“The UWEP will shake up both the hospitality industry and lead the way in bespoke underwater events. We will not only present a stellar experience for the most discerning clientele but also a business opportunity that will benefit entrepreneurs and contribute to our understanding of the oceans.”
Bert Houtman, U-Boat Worx's founder and CEO, said.
