Bezos Snaps back at Biden on Twitter
“You want to bring down inflation? Let’s make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share.”
Yesterday, Jeff Bezos woke up and chose violence. Not really - but he did take aim at President Biden over a tweet in which Biden claims inflation can be fixed using the taxation of wealthy corporations. Keep in mind that this may just be another play from Biden to throw the blame in another direction as to why inflation is running rabid. People aren’t buying the blame on Russia, supply chain issues, or Covid anymore, so Biden has turned to blaming the tax habits of wealthy corporations.
Around 6 pm, Biden tweeted: “You want to bring down inflation? Let’s make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share.” But Bezos wasn't buying it. Granted, Amazon has benefited from tax credits and deductions and Jeff Bezos made sure the public heard his opinion on Biden’s tweet.

Biden has a history of criticizing Bezos on Amazon’s tax habits. They paid no federal income taxes in 2017 and 2018. Inflation is at record levels not seen in decades, affecting the cost of goods such as gas, food, and housing.
As the Fed implemented two interest rate hikes, Biden and his administration are now trying to pull whatever excuse and attempt to ease inflation possible. I feel that Americans are getting sick of nothing being done and going after Bezos and business owners alike isn’t the route…
