The Monkey Flu is the disease fresh off the press spreading through America. The freshest indication of spread occurred in South Florida as a presumptive case of monkeypox has been reported and is currently being investigated in Broward County.
The CDC and the Center for Prevention are both investigating the case of possible monkeypox as well as attempting to trace potential exposure within the community.
According to the Flordia Department of Health in Broward County, the case is being accredited in relation to international travel. Why in the world is anybody traveling to Central or Western Africa blows my mind, but I guess it’s the new wave. Or we are all just being misled…
The “infected” individual is currently in isolation have those who could’ve been in contact with the patient are being notified.
