The safety and lives of billions of people have been put in front of the face of danger due to extreme weather, rising sea levels, and damaged ecosystems across the globe. Many neglect these billions of people, but some know them only as “the world’s forgotten victims.”
With the continuation of the climate change threat increasing everywhere, it seems no surprise that the living conditions of billions of people are also becoming more precarious around the world. Climate change doesn’t just mean extreme weather. It also includes:

The UN High Commissioner for Refugees states an average of 21.5 Million people have been displaced (forcibly) by weather-related events since 2008. These figures are almost indefinitely expected to surge in coming decades with forecasts from the IEP estimating 1.2 Billion people can and will be displaced at the global level by at least 2050. The displacement is strictly due to climate change and natural disasters which are both expected to get worse as time goes on…
