Elon Musk tells Trump it’s “Time to Hang up your Hat and Sail into the Sunset
Over the weekend, Donald Trump held a rally in which he spent a chunk of time speaking about Elon Musk. At one point, Trump referred to Musk as “another bullshit artist.” Well, Musk has returned the favor and it gave me a very Pete Buttigieg vibe.
“I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat & sail into the sunset. Dems should also call off the attack—don’t make it so that Trump’s only way to survive is to regain the Presidency. Trump would be 82 at end of their term, which is too old to be chief executive of anything, let alone the United States of America. If [Florida Gov. Ron] DeSantis runs against Biden in 2024, then DeSantis will easily win—he doesn’t even need to campaign,” Elon Musk wrote in response to Trump’s comments.

The Philippines also received some relieving news as Blinken also stated the United States would be obligated to defend its allies.
The message comes on the sixth anniversary of the 2016 decision which was set up in Hague under the United Nations Convention of the Law of the Sea. China has rejected the ruling as fraudulent and continuously defies it. In part due to the fact that China didn’t even participate in the initial ruling…

Data released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis show that the GDP decreased at an annual rate of 1.6% in Q1. GDPNow is publishing data that shows GDP also decreased in Q2, which many economists live by the rule of two negative quarters of growth are considered a recession. Regardless of the feelings of economists, to officially be in a recession, the final word would have to come from the National Bureau of Economic Research.
Heller states that the Fed policy is still highly stimulative. Fund rates have hit 1.50-1.75% even as CPI continues to rise, as it is up 8.6% YOY. Longer-dated Treasury bonds are currently offering up negative rates of -5%. According to Heller, if the Fed policy was truly restrictive, the Fed’s funds rate and Treasury yield curve would be above the inflation rate…
