Geraldo Rivera opens up on Broken Relationship with Donald Trump
The Fox News host said that he “could never support Donald Trump again.”
Geraldo Rivera, a Fox News host, said that he “could never support Donald Trump again.” The news came via a Tweet sent by Rivera that shocked many who saw it due to the longtime friendship between Rivera and Trump. Rivera cited the “baseless cries of voting fraud” as the reasoning behind ending his “allegiance.”
“Election Deniers depress me. I blame President Trump for his shameful campaign to slander and undermine American faith in our elections. For all his positive accomplishments, and there are many, I could never support him again. Without fealty to the Constitution, we’re [second] rate.”
Geraldo Rivera said.
Some people began to question the “accomplishments” of Trump that Geraldo Rivera mentioned. Others criticized Rivera for being a “turncoat.” Most recently, Donald Trump has seemingly begun the split between himself and Fox News with a slew of criticisms.
“Wow! Fox News is really pushing the Democrats and the Democrat agenda. Gets worse every single day. So many Dems interviewed with only softball questions, then Republican counterparts get creamed.”
Donald Trump said of Fox News on Truth Social.
Geraldo Rivera claimed Donald Trump is “a loyal friend whom I supported for four years in office.” Rivera was one of the biggest advocates for the story of “leftist creeps” attempting to undermine and destroy Trump at all costs. Rivera also stated the Covid vaccine should “be named after him [Trump]” due to his high praise of “producing a Covid-19 vaccine.”
After his own announcement of the 2020 election being over, Rivera stated that Donald Trump ended further conversations with him. He also went on to call out Trump and Fox News colleagues for their claims of fraud in the presidential election and giving justification to the January 6th Capitol Riots. All in all, Rivera claims there is a massive “dysfunction” in Donald Trump which he has previously failed to see.
