Harold Bosse Stands Strong on claims of Mass Adoption of Crypto being Right around the Corner
MasterCard and their executives continue their backing of the growth of the crypto world...
The Vice President of new product development and innovation at MasterCard has revealed that corporations, investors, and executives alike are unphased by the recent shit show known as the crypto market. Harold Bosse also added that the long-term prospects of the crypto space remain very optimistic.
Outlines of MasterCard’s intention in the crypto world has already been made as they’ve begun to roll out crypto-backed credit services along with registering several NFT and Metaverse trademarks.
Harold Bosse has also stated that the mass adoption of any digital assets and the technology will happen sooner rather than later. He added that millions of users are sending these digital assets around the world.
“They are early adopters and new adopters, but we have switched toward mass markets, [and] that will be a very important aspect for financial institutions to move into the space.”
Harold Bosse said at a webinar during Avalanche’s Powering Business with Blockchain series.
Harold Bosse is also a very respectable man in the sense that he also gives a clear acknowledgment of the challenges that still remain for corporations to enter the market. Bosse states that a lot of it has boiled down to a lack of understanding about crypto among the senior management at these corporations, issues around scalability, commercial rationale, cost, speed, and other regulatory concerns.
“No one will use digital assets on blockchains unless they’re absolutely certain this money is good money.”
Harold Bosse said.
Regulatory concerns have become highlighted in the crypto industry after the shitting of the bed by the UST stablecoin and LUNA. These events led many to predict a certain bear market, but Bosse has another opinion:
“It has to be invisible. I keep saying this, and it makes me sound like a broken record, but it needs to take a backseat to users who don’t care – honestly, my mom doesn’t care if it is [centralized finance] or DeFi.”
