Inflation forces Tesla to hikes Prices for all Models in the U.S.
Another victim to inflation in the United States...
Everything is becoming more expensive as inflation runs its routes on the American middle-class. Yesterday, Tesla became the next addition to the list of companies that have had to raise their prices as the company raised prices for all its car models in the United States.
The Model Y long-range got pushed to a price range of $65,990 from $62,990, according to the Tesla website shown yesterday. Many are upset as this specific price increase comes after some deliveries were on hold for so long - nearly up to a month.
It’s no surprise that Tesla has raised its prices as raw material prices also continue to increase, especially materials for batteries and the aluminum that is used in cars.
In recent weeks, Elon Musk has warned multiple times of the upcoming recession. Earlier this month, we heard claims from Musk of a “super bad feeling” about the economy and due to this Tesla would be cutting 10% of jobs.
