Peter Navarro has recently fallen under criticism for federal indictments, paying legal fees via crowdfunding, and other things. Now, he is saying Jared Kushner has faked his claims of cancer to help sell copies of his forthcoming memoir. According to the book, Jared Kushner was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer in October 2019.
To this, Peter Navarro said, "That thyroid thing, that came out of nowhere. I saw the guy every day. There's no sign that he was in pain, danger, or whatever. I think it's just sympathy to try to sell his book now."
According to the Mayo Clinic, Thyroid Cancer can and will cause swelling and pain in the neck. It may also lead to a sore throat and difficulting swallowing but also doesn’t show many signs or symptoms in the early stages.
After the criticisms, Peter Navarro said that he had Jared Kushner to thank for his job at the White House after Kushner discovered Navarro’s book on Amazon in 2017 and cold-called him to invite him to work at the White House. In Peter Navarro’s new book, published in 2021, he criticized Jared Kushner’s “Project Airbridge” which was a program designed to help fly personal protective equipment from Asian manufacturers to the United States.
Peter Navarro claimed the project undermined the domestic manufacturers and even went as far as to say the economic moves made by Jared Kusher “helped drive up the trade deficit even as it careened this country further into its foreign import dependency ditch.”
