A testing facility has been revamped which was once run by a massive weapons lab in Russia after being forgotten after the fall of the Soviet Union. TsNIITochMash is a lab in Russia that researches and designs weaponry including anti-tank missiles and assault rifles. It has released a statement saying it would now be able to test ballistic weapons and small-caliber artillery in the extreme cold Russian winters.
Weaponry capabilities have been a major topic in Russia with President Vladimir Putin recently boasting about the advancement of Russian weaponry as well as his desire to share the technology with Russian allies. In rankings, Russia is only second to the United States in total arms sales. They move about $15 Billion worth of weapons which equates to a fifth of the global export market.
