Senator John Barrasso claims it is an "Uphill Battle" for Liz Cheney to win her Re-Election
"There's really not that many Democrats out there. Even the chairman of the Democratic Party said there are not enough Democrats to do that."
According to Senator John Barrasso, Liz Cheney has “a lot of work to do,” as the vice chairwoman of the January 6th committee and House hopeful preps for her re-election. Currently, she has been on the edge of the Republican party due to her workings with the select house committee and giving unconfirmed, yet subtle, hints at running for the Republican presidential seat.
Senator John Barrasso continued on saying that Liz Cheney is facing an uphill battle to defeat Harriet Hageman for her re-election. Hageman is Trump-backed, which entices many of the voters who are still die-hard MAGA to give their votes to her.
"Wyoming politics is very personal. It's face-to-face. It's town to town, and as you know, Liz and I disagree. I voted against the impeachment of President Trump. She was for it. I voted against the partisan January 6 commission. She's all in on that."
Said John Barrasso.
Harriet Hageman garnered the endorsement of Donald Trump after building a pillar of her campaign on being one of many election deniers. "Now the election isn't for another month. The travel that I have done around the state, I think she has a lot of work to do if she hopes to win the primary,” echoing the possibility that another Trumper may win office, Senator Barrasso said.
Liz Cheney has been favored by Democrats more specifically as she has drawn donations from Democratic party figures. Her campaign turned to Democrats, mailing instructions to voters in the red state on how to switch parties to vote for her. Senator Barrasso has his doubts surrounding Liz Cheney and the help the Democratic party can offer her saying, "There's really not that many Democrats out there. Even the chairman of the Democratic Party said there are not enough Democrats to do that."
All we know is that the race for Wyoming will heat up and do so very quickly…
