Many analysts have reiterated that Russia is extremely underperforming during its invasion of Ukraine. While many have done their own formulating as to why that is, nobody has yet to give any specific reasoning. However recently, the Security Service of Ukraine intercepted a conversation with a Russian soldier and his wife in which he complains about the weapons that have been supplied to Ukraine which can strike long-distance targets.

Russian Soldier: "They are sitting, drinking coffee, pressing buttons, and they are throwing shells at you. And you are running around like a motherfucker. We have already had so many tanks burned out here, so much equipment... And our motherfuckers can't even hit them, can't calculate them."

Soldiers Wife: The wife of the soldier is surprised that Russian tanks are not responding. Instead, the soldier corrects her: "They start hitting you 3-4 kilometers away. Where will you shoot at with the tank?"

It has already been stated that the Russian army’s numbers are completely offset by the Ukrainian missile and artillery accuracy. This was made clear by Oleksii Danilov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, on July 11th.

“The numeric advantage of the Russian army is leveled by Ukrainian missile and artillery accuracy. Western weapons supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine are already changing the course of the war. And we are only just getting started!"
