Will Kevin McCarthy and the Democrats set aside Differences if the GOP takes Control of the House?
Political News
For much of this year, President Biden and the Democrats have ruthlessly vilified Kevin McCarthy, and if the GOP takes back control of the House during midterms, it would leave the country with the worst relationship between the House and the sitting president. There continues to be a worsening polarization within the United States with visible open hostility and more which can become what some say is “combustible” come January.
“They’re going to have to retool their approach. Unless they are comfortable with, you know, continuing an adversarial relationship, I would think it would be in their interest to at least establish more of a conciliatory tone and a rapport,” said Rick Crawford, outlining the issue many people have that both the Republicans and Democrats are pledging “they must apologize first.”
For now, many people are in hope that Kevin McCarthy will become some form of ally with Joe Biden in hopes that the president and his administration has some hopes of passing meaningful legislation within the next two years.

Gas Prices Will Fall as Refiners plan to Refill Distilleries
Economic News
According to analysts and traders, some wholesale gas prices will continue to drop in the next few months due to the overproduction of fuel in order to rebuild low storage facilities made up of diesel and heating oil. The United States and its inventories of distillate products are currently sitting at the lowest levels in more than a decade with the continuing struggle of margins to make these products remain high due to the heavy European demand.
In general, gasoline demand has been high in the United States but will drop a bit due to the driving season coming to an end. Earlier this year, United States Independent Refiners mentioned that they would run at high rates, even if the demand tanked in order to refill inventories.
