The Ukrainian military hit the headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet in the Sevastopol area early this morning. Mikhail Razvozhayev, the Sevastopol Governor, told reporters that six people have been wounded. On the flip side, Russian strikes also hit the port city of Mykolaiv overnight killing the owner of one of the largest grain-producing companies.
The Donetsk region continues to be a hotbed of war as well as Volodymyr Zelenskyy had to announce a mandatory evacuation for the citizens still living in the war-ridden area.
"The more people leave the Donetsk region now, the fewer people the Russian army will have time to kill."
Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
Accusations in recent days have been tossed between both Ukraine and Russia concerning multiple attacks. One was the missile strike that killed 53 Ukrainian prisoners of war in the town of Olenivka. Russia has invited the UN and Red Cross experts to probe the incident after being blamed.
Russia has been accused of atrocities against civilians and identified nearly 10,000 more possible war crimes. Of course, Russia denied any targeting of civilians and war crimes during its invasion of Ukraine.
