After an attempt to cling to power for just two more days, Johnson decided it was time to go.
His exit will prompt an internal election to pick a new leader of the Conservative Party, who will in turn be the next Prime Minister. This process is set to occur over the summer and Boris Johnson has indicated he will be staying in office until that concludes - a controversial move - as critics say he shouldn’t be allowed to remain even as the caretaker to the PM.

Trump Won Wisconsin? He thinks so since State Court has Restricted Ballot Drop Boxes
Political News
Wisconsin is now the front of another wave of Donald Trump lies. All of a sudden now, he has won the state in the 2020 presidential election. Not really, just according to him.
In fact, Trump didn’t win the state, and claims since the State’s Supreme Court concluded a ruling which reduces the number of drop boxes for absentee ballots, the votes were fake and all marked for Biden.
Trump took to his Truth Social account to say, “This means I won the very closely contested (not actually) Wisconsin Presidential race because they used these corrupt and scandal-ridden Scam Boxes.”
