July 4, 2022 - Kristina Karamo, a Trump Backed Candidate, thinks Abortion is a “Satanic Practice” of “Child Sacrifice”
The Republican nominee for Michigan Secretary of State, Kristina Karamo, endorsed by Trump, said some of the wildest, most hallucinatory things anyone could ever imagine.
“Abortion is really nothing new. Child sacrifice is a very satanic practice, and that’s precisely what abortion is. And we need to see it as such,” Karamo, a community college professor, said in an Oct. 2020 episode of her podcast.
She also called abortion “the greatest crime of our nation’s history.”
July 7, 2022 - In Heat of Scandals, U.K.’s Boris Johnson Agrees to Resign
After facing multiple scandals this week, U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has finally accepted the fact that he will need to resign. Nearly 50 senior lawmakers have quit their government jobs due to Boris Johnson and his lack of competence. After an attempt to cling to power for just two more days, Johnson decided it was time to go.
His exit will prompt an internal election to pick a new leader of the Conservative Party, who will in turn be the next Prime Minister. This process is set to occur over the summer and Boris Johnson has indicated he will be staying in office until that concludes - a controversial move - as critics say he shouldn’t be allowed to remain even as the caretaker to the PM.
July 8, 2022 - Shinzo Abe, the former Japanese Prime Minister, Assassinated during a Campaign Speech
Shinzo Abe, Japan’s former Prime Minister, has been assassinated during a campaign speech on the street in Nara, Japan. Earlier today, Japan’s PM Fumio Kishida gave an emotional, heartfelt press conference where he said Abe was in “severe condition” and he hopes he will survive.
Abe was initially taken from the scene unconscious and in cardiac arrest.
July 6, 2022 - Mortgage Rates Drop but Mortgage Demands Follow
Mortgage rates have shed 10bps last week and in the last two weeks have shed a combined 24bps. Mortgage demand followed the downtrend as seen in the drop of 5.4% in demand from last week, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association.
The average contract interest rate for 30-year fixed mortgages with loan balances (conforming) fell to 5.74% from 5.84% but points increased to 0.65 from 0.64.

An executive order aimed at protecting abortion rights will be signed today. Biden is set to sign off on the order during a Roosevelt room ceremony this morning. The executive order will push Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Bacerra to take the steps necessary to ensure access to abortions and expand access "to the full range of reproductive health services.”
Services will include emergency contraception and long-acting reversible contraception like intrauterine devices (IUDs).

What’s Leading the Weekend?
Trump Ordered to Hand Over Records to House Committee
Donald Trump is now in the spotlight as a Congressional committee investigating Trump’s potential conflicts of interest has demanded he hand over his past financial records. The court ruled yesterday that the House Oversight Committee can obtain documents related to payments made by government officials to Trump hotels, accounting records, and further information related to a hotel in the Old Post Office building that Trump leased from the United States federal government.
Scary: ShutDownDC Offers Bounties for Reported Public Sightings of Conservative Supreme Court Justices
ShutDownDC, a left-wing activist group, has offered to pay people to message them the EXACT location of six conservative Supreme Court justices. The offering came via Twitter, as the group said it would pay $50 to anyone sharing “confirming sightings” of Brett Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, John Roberts, or Samuel Alito.
An incentive was also added by the group as they said they would pay $200 if the Supreme Court justice was still in the location reported after 30 minutes.
British Conservative Party is looking to Speed up Leadership Contests
After the dismissal of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, the United Kingdom’s conservative party has been in a rush to find replacements. Reports throughout the party indicate two names will be finalized by July 20. There will be set rules and timetables surrounding the contest between the two unknown names.
A series of votes will be held to reduce the overall hopefuls to two people who will then face a postal ballot of the wider Conservative Party membership.
Bidenomics: All Good?
As the United States continues to discuss the impending doom of the recession, which all-in-all is on the balance of a 50/50 chance of actually happening, the Biden administration received some solid economic news this week.
Job growth was reported yesterday and with the data, the consensus is that it was strong - once again. Employers added 372,000 payrolls which outpaced expectations by 122,000. In a growing economy, jobs aren’t even added at such a rate. Unemployment as well sits at a near-record low of 3.6%.
Trump Won Wisconsin? He thinks so since State Court has Restricted Ballot Drop Boxes
Wisconsin is now the front of another wave of Donald Trump lies. All of a sudden now, he has won the state in the 2020 presidential election. Not really, just according to him.
In fact, Trump didn’t win the state, and claims since the State’s Supreme Court concluded a ruling which reduces the number of drop boxes for absentee ballots, the votes were fake and all marked for Biden.
Trump took to his Truth Social account to say, “This means I won the very closely contested (not actually) Wisconsin Presidential race because they used these corrupt and scandal-ridden Scam Boxes.”
