The Biden Presidency at a Turning Point?
After leaving isolation due to Covid, President Biden arrived at Air Force One yesterday claiming to be “feeling great.” A new political playing field was created for Biden before playing in one which wouldn’t cut him a break. Now, he is on a roll any president would love to have.

Polling Shows some States see Biden’s Disapproval Affecting other Democratic Candidates
Fresh polling has indicated that close political races — such as open sets in Oregon, Colorado, and California — in which President Biden held double-digit leads show that Biden’s current popularity (or lack thereof) is troubling other Democratic politicians. One brief warning beforehand is that a lot of the polling available in these districts are internal Republican figures and can sometimes be rosier than reality for the party.
The numbers indicate that polls are tightening in some super-blue seat races. This would mean that Democrats may have to expend more resources on the defense and hone in on the un-funded incumbents.
Russia Believes a Total Western Ban on them is “Irrational”
Russia has dismissed the calls for western travel bans on all Russians by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as “irrational” and also warned Europe if they would want to pay the bills for Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s “whims.”
Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, said there is no chance Russians could be isolated from the rest of the world followed by the question of if Europe would continue to support Zelenskyy. He said. "The irrationality of his thinking, in this case, is off the scale.”

Nvidia released Q2 earnings and showed that they were short of expectations. Shares dropped nearly 6% and the market value for the company fell off to $30 Billion. One of the main areas in which Nvidia is getting hammered is the gaming segment which includes graphic cards and other chips.
Sandeep Deshpande, a J.P. Morgan analyst, said, "Nvidia's gaming slowdown likely includes the chips they sell to the crypto market, which has been weak, hence the extent of the slowdown is so significant.”

Wisconsin’s Senator Ron Johnson continues to face scrutiny. This time, he is facing uncertainty in his primary race after telling people his beliefs on Social Security and Medicare. He claimed the two should be classified as discretionary spending which would allow Congress to authorize a set budget for each respective field each year.
This has been what some Democrats have taken advantage of as political ammo as they claim that Ron Johnson now wishes to cut the programs. This isn’t the first pot of hot water Ron Johnson has landed in, however. He has claimed he didn’t feel threatened by protestors who stormed the Capitol because “those were people who love this country.” Then he followed up by saying he would be worried if they happened to be Black Lives Matter protestors…
